Know which carriers need what you sell.
And when to call.
HAULVANE watches federal carrier records every day and turns meaningful changes into a ranked sales queue. See who has a new deadline, new need or new opportunity before you spend the morning working through another stale list.
A carrier list is not a call list.
Static databases tell your team who exists. They do not tell you what changed, why a carrier may need what you sell, or whether the opportunity is already stale. Reps lose the morning researching cold records while the carrier with a real deadline hears from someone else first.

The useful clock is a federal suspension notice.
Cancellation filings are noisy. Suspension notices carry the date that matters: the day authority goes down unless coverage is restored. HAULVANE removes notices already cured and puts the shortest live clocks first.
Federal data check
The official FMCSA files confirm the distinction.

We followed every notice to the end.
A deadline is only worth selling against if you know what usually happens when it runs out. So we took every involuntary suspension notice whose thirty days have already expired and followed each one forward through the authority and insurance files to see who fixed it, who went dark, and who came back. The whole study — the cohort, the counts, the queries that reproduce it — is generated by pipeline/outcomes.py and ships inside the product as src/28-outcomes.js. This panel renders itself from that file, so it cannot say anything the data does not.
July 2026, from FMCSA's own files
Both counts are ours, for July 2026. The links run the same two queries over the most recent full month, against az4n-8mr2 and yu5v-wbh6.
"15,000 new authority leads a month" is 15,000 of something else.
A new USDOT number is not a new operating authority. Most of those registrations are intrastate operators, private fleets, and entities that will never haul a regulated load for hire. The number that matters — carriers that actually received authority and therefore must buy insurance, an ELD, factoring and a fuel card in the same quarter — was 2,997.
If you are paying for volume, you are paying for the wrong five out of six. HAULVANE counts grants, labels them as grants, and shows you the date each one landed.
Today's file tells you who exists. The archive tells you what changed.
We know how much selling time disappears into stale carrier data. HAULVANE keeps each day's federal record, detects the changes and ranks each event for the product you sell. The result is not more data to investigate. It is a reason to call, the date it happened and the source that proves it.
01 · Collect
Seven files, every day, never overwritten
The census, the insurance filing history, suspension and revocation orders, authority history, inspections, crashes and safety scores. Each pull is kept. Today's copy is just the newest page of the archive.
02 · Diff
Yesterday against today, per USDOT number
Field-level changes become dated, typed events: a filing replaced, a truck count moved, a score crossed a threshold, an order served. This is the layer a snapshot vendor structurally cannot sell you.
03 · Rank
Priced for what you actually sell
You pick your offer. Every event is weighted for that offer, every carrier gets a score out of 100, and each one arrives with the plain sentence that explains why it is on your screen today.
One file. Nine different mornings.
Pick what you sell. The carriers do not change and the day does not change — only the order does, because the events that matter to a factor are not the events that matter to an insurance agent, and a broker wants the opposite of both.
The same event means different money to different sellers.
A carrier that just replaced its insurance filing is a dead lead to an agent and a live one to a factor. A safety score crossing an intervention threshold is a warning to a broker and a buying signal to a compliance consultant. Tell HAULVANE what you sell and the entire universe re-sorts around it.
Winning the account is half of it.
Paste in the carriers you already sell to. From then on, the same federal feed watches them for you: who replaced your filing with somebody else's, whose safety scores moved against you since you wrote them, whose renewal is coming, and who added enough trucks that what you sold them no longer covers it.
A prospecting tool gets cancelled the month the pipeline is full. A tool that tells you the moment you are about to lose an account does not.
What it catches
The single highest-value alert in the whole product is not a new prospect. It is the line that says another carrier's filing just replaced yours on an account you thought was safe — with the date it happened and the name of who took it.
Your book stays in your browser. We do not upload it, store it, or sell it back to anyone.
Everything below runs on the same free file.
That is not a criticism — it is the point. The federal data is public and free for everyone, including us. What separates these products is what they do to it, how much of the country you get, and whether anything on the screen carries a date.
A bigger number there is not a better product. Every extra column is a decision you have to make before you can pick up the phone. Ours answers one question — should I call this carrier, and by when — and puts everything else on the detail page where it belongs.
Prices are as published by each vendor on 14 August 2026, for the lowest tier that includes
carrier data. Carrier Software (DOT Leads) and RigDig publish no price anywhere on their
sites — both route you to a sales call. Where a vendor gates by state, the listed price buys
one state. PollyAI is omitted for width: its $39 tier contains no FMCSA data at all, and one
state with data starts at $79/mo.
Two things we will not overstate. DOT Intel is genuinely close to us in shape — free
tier, watchlists, a score, no per-state gate — so we are not the only one doing several of
these things. And every vendor here runs on the same free federal file we do. If any cell in
this table is wrong, tell us and we will fix it, because a comparison you can catch us on is
worth less than no comparison at all.

Questions worth asking.
Pick one. These are the questions that decide whether this is worth your money, so they get real answers rather than marketing ones — including the places where the honest answer is "it doesn't do that".
Privacy
Draft — review by counsel before launchWhat we collect about you
Your work email, because that is the whole signup. A name and an offer profile if you choose to give them. Payment is handled by Stripe and card numbers never touch our servers — we hold a customer id and the last four digits. Our web server keeps ordinary request logs (IP address, user agent, path, timestamp) for 30 days to catch abuse and debug faults, and that is the extent of it. One session cookie so you stay signed in. No advertising pixels, no third-party analytics, no session recording.
What the product data is
Public federal records about businesses, published by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and free to anyone: the carrier census, insurance and authority filing history, suspension orders, inspections and crashes. We do not buy, scrape, append or infer contact data. Every field carries the government file it came from, and you can see that provenance on the record.
Be aware of what the government publishes: a large share of carriers are sole proprietors, so a legal name can be a person's name and a physical address can be their home. We show what FMCSA published and nothing beyond it, and we do not build profiles of individuals.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal data — not to advertisers, not to brokers, not to anyone. We do not sell or share your searches, your exports or your book of business. Your book lives in your own browser and is never uploaded.
Deletion and suppression
Ask and we delete your account and everything attached to it, within 30 days. If you are a carrier who found your own record here, write to us and we will suppress it from the product — we cannot remove it from the federal file, because that is FMCSA's, but we can stop showing it in ours.

Terms of service
Draft — review by counsel before launchThe subscription
Signal Desk is $149.99 per month and includes unlimited seats inside your company. Cancel whenever you like: access runs to the end of the period you paid for, and every CSV you already exported stays yours.
What you may do with the data
Use the rows to run your own business: call, write, quote, monitor your book, load them into your own CRM. What you may not do is resell, republish or redistribute exported data outside your company, or fold it into a product you sell to someone else. That is the line, and it is the only one we are strict about.
Read the API at the documented rate limits and no faster. No scraping the app, no headless harvesting, no working around the export meter. And no automated dialling, prerecorded calls, bulk SMS or fax broadcast over any number in this data — we do not build those features and we will not knowingly support them.
What we promise, and what we do not
The service is provided as-is. We commit to reasonable efforts on uptime and to telling you plainly when a federal source breaks, which it does. We do not warrant that the data is accurate: it is FMCSA's own snapshot of a database that is already a day old, raw and not checked for accuracy by anyone, and you should verify against SAFER before acting on anything that matters.
HAULVANE is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by FMCSA or the US Department of Transportation. This is not a consumer report and it is not governed by the FCRA: do not use it to decide anybody's eligibility for credit, employment, housing or personal insurance. Our score is a sales-priority estimate, not a safety rating and not an underwriting opinion. Nothing here is legal advice — check your own outbound practice against the TCPA and CAN-SPAM with counsel.
